Overview
i. Preliminary research regarding target population – data gathering
ii. Conduct interviews with system stakeholder (medical directors of health plan, managers of anti-coagulation clinics)
iii. Conduct focus groups with patients taking warfarin
iv. Conduct focus groups with providers (possibly including internists, nurse, nurse practitioners and others managing patients on warfarin)
v. Key questions will be used to inform the research – clarifying target audience, actions target audience should take, evidence that support knowledge/behavior change
vi. Advisory group – involvement in the process
vii. Formulating messages based on research
viii. Dissemination of messages
ix. Evaluation of campaign
