Dr. Jack Fyock - Senior Manager in BearingPoint’s Health Services Research and Management Group, has 15 years of research, programming, and communication experience in medical, social service, and public health settings. Dr. Fyock is a nationally recognized expert in Social Marketing and has led the majority of CMS communication research related to the Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit and Medicare Advantage. Dr. Fyock specializes in formative research, communication research, message development, and program evaluations. He has directed many CMS communication research and evaluation projects with a primary focus on health or healthcare related issues.
Dr. Fyock has served as Research Director and has participated in all aspects of research implementation. He has also managed the development of a social marketing plan to help prevent obesity in adolescent girls. This effort included a comprehensive analysis of research conducted prior to a pilot intervention project and suggested strategies and tactics for implementation of the pilot. The analysis included a review of key research findings which included a literature review, environmental analysis, media scan, key informant interviews, and focus groups.
Janet Marchibroda - Janet Marchibroda is
the Chief Executive Officer of the eHealth Initiative
and the Foundation for eHealth Initiative, both Washington, D.C.-based national non-profit
organizations whose missions are to improve the quality, safety and efficiency
of healthcare through information and information technology (IT). The eHealth Initiative is a multi-stakeholder member
organization-- representing clinicians, employers, health plans, healthcare IT
suppliers, hospitals and other healthcare providers, consumer groups,
pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, public health organizations,
standards bodies, and academic institutions.
Ms. Marchibroda also serves as the Executive Director of
Connecting for Health—a public-private sector initiative funded and led by the Markle Foundation and supported by the Robert Wood Johnson
Foundation—which is designed to catalyze actions on a national basis to drive
electronic connectivity and create an interconnected, electronic health
information infrastructure.
Prior to the eHealth Initiative, Ms. Marchibroda
co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer for two health care
information organizations. She also served as the interim Chief Operating
Officer for the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship. Ms. Marchibroda also served as the Chief Operating Officer of
the National Committee for Quality Assurance, an organization devoted to
evaluating and improving the quality of health care for Americans. She holds a B.S. in Commerce from the
University of Virginia and an MBA with a concentration in organization
development from George Washington University.
